Every year, The Social Studies Area, makes a great effort motivating the students to show their leadership skills. This year was not the exception; many students were interested to become class leaders such as academic, coexistence and environmental.
Students were able to vote for their groups´ leaders and also they chose the School´s counselor; an eleventh grade student whose function is to represent them in the school, defending on their rights and promoting their duties. This student is Luis Enrique Gutiérrez; he was the winner, with a total of 180 votes.
Once we had the possession of the leaders, the Students Council was able to make the election of an eleventh grade student that will represent them in the Directive Council. The winner was Mateo Sánchez.
Democracy, was once again the protagonist and the guest of the School; students were able to participate and be part of the decision making process.
Thanks to all the people that were involved in these processes; we hope to continue promoting democracy values in order to have integral citizens in the future.
